Love is the band’s first new full-length release in three years and is their ninth overall album. Written and recorded at Earthology studios by Cloud Cult’s Craig Minowa, the album was mastered by Grammy winning engineer Greg Calbi. The end result is a beautiful, powerful and moving album that harkens back to some of the band’s earlier releases while boldly pushing them forward.
This Midwest experimental chamber rock band has become as well known for their music and eco-friendly practices as they have for their live performances. These performances often turn into emotionally charged experiences that have the entire room enraptured not only by the music and performance itself, but by the live painting on stage. Craig Minowa (vocals, guitar) is joined on stage and on vocals by Arlen Peiffer (drums), Shannon Frid (violin), Daniel Zamzow (cello), Shawn Neary (bass, trombone), Sarah Elhardt (keyboard, French horn, trumpet) and Connie Minowa (visual artist), Scott West (visual artist).
