Zach Bryan Makes Surprise Guest Appearance With Trampled By Turtles At Levitate Flannel Jam

Trampled by Turtles brought out old pal Zach Bryan during their headlining set on Saturday at the Levitate Flannel Jam in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Bryan joined the Minnesota-based string band for three songs to the surprise and delight of attendees at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.

Zach Bryan is a longtime TbT fan and had the group open most shows of his The Burn Burn Burn Tour in 2023. “This is one of the best bands in the world,” Bryan said of band he’d been listening to since he was 18 years old as per MassLive.com’s report.

Trampled by Turtles, who first headlined the Flannel Jam in 2019, rolled through a career-spanning batch of songs as the country star looked on from side stage. Zach Bryan emerged towards the end of the set to augment the band on TbT originals “Alone” and “Whiskey.”

Bryan also led the sextet through his own “Revival” in what turned into a big singalong. In addition to singing, the Oklahoma native strummed acoustic guitar on his 20202 hit that usually ends his shows.

Trampled by Turtles’ performance was the last of eight sets at this year’s Levitate Flannel Jam. An “Island Encore” edition will be held on Nantucket today (Monday, October 14) featuring TbT, Deer Tick, Birdtalker and Doug & Co.
