Country singer-songwriter Zach Bryan capped his show on Saturday at UBS Arena outside of New York City by bringing out all-star Major League Baseball player Pete Alonso. The Mets slugger emerged during the final song of the night, joining Bryan for an encore performance of “Revival.”
Alonso’s appearance with Bryan came after the Mets’ 7-6 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers earlier that day at Citi Field. Alonso went two for four at the plate, including a solo home run in the ninth inning. The Mets were swept by the Brewers in the three-game series that opened the 2024 MLB season.
