Yonder Mountain String Band & The Travelin’ McCourys Cover Grateful Dead In Asheville: Pro-Shot Video

Yonder Mountain String Band and The Travelin’ McCourys wrap up a run of co-bills this week in Florida and in Atlanta on Saturday. Both acts paired up for a collaborative cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Brown-Eyed Women” on Friday night at The Orange Peel in Asheville and pro-shot video of the performance can be viewed below.
Eacn night of the tour has featured both bands sharing the stage for multi-song encores. Last Wednesday, the groups played “Wheel Hoss,” “No Expectations” and “I Know You Rider” at The National in Richmond before teaming up on “Mama Tried,” “Vamp In The Middle” and “Angel on Thursday at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina. Friday’s encore in Asheville also featured “Going To The Races,” “Girlfriend Is Better” and “Wheel Hoss,” while Saturday’s concert in Knoxville ended with “Telluride,” “Loose Lucy” and “Traffic Jam.”
