Widespread Panic unveiled pro-shot video featuring the “Porch Song” closer from a 2011 concert in Birmingham. The clip was filmed at the BJCC Arena in Birmingham on April 15, 2011.
Panic’s show at the BJCC Arena came in lieu of a performance at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in nearby Pelham. The concert was moved indoors due to inclement weather as per EverydayCompanion.com. The sextet did pull off a show at Oak Mountain the next night.

The band tipped their hats towards the weather by dusting off The Doors' “Riders On The Storm” earlier in the evening. Widespread Panic hadn’t covered the L.A. Woman classic since 2008.
“Porch Song” is one of Widespread Panic’s earliest originals. The live debut came on March 17, 1986 and the band fit a studio version on their debut album in 1988, Space Wrangler. WSP has played “Porch Song” in concert 1,134 times through the most recent take on February 27, 2020 at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.
