Widespread Panic shared video of “Holden Oversoul” and “Solid Rock.” The clip comes from WSP’s June 25, 2016 concert at Red Rocks.
After releasing a slew of videos from their 25th anniversary run in 2011, Widespread Panic has continued to roll out footage from memorable stands including Oak Mountain and Red Rocks. The video for “Holden Oversoul” and “Solid Rock” follows a previously released clip of “Time Is Free” > “Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys” > “Love Tractor” from their 2016 finale at the iconic Colorado venue.

The day before, June 25, saw Panic kicking off the show with “Holden Oversoul,” one of their oldest tunes debuted on March 22, 1988, as per Everyday Companion. The song has remained a steady staple since, save for an absence in 2003.
WSP then headed into Bob Dylan’s “Solid Rock,” which originally appeared on the legendary singer-songwriter’s 1980 album, Saved, the second LP in his so-called “Christian trilogy.” Panic debuted the song at Bonnaroo in 2005 and the cover remained in heavy rotation until fairly recently. The band last played the Dylan tune on June 22, 2018, also at Red Rocks.
