William Tyler Shares Grateful Dead Feedback Mix

Guitarist William Tyler recently unveiled a mix on SoundCloud titled “Stealies In Earthqauke (sic) Country.” The 65-minute track combines portions of Grateful Dead feedback jams.

The mesmerizing mix is the Grateful Dead at their weirdest and certainly isn’t for everyone. While most of the mix sounds like it was culled from the late ’60s, Tyler noted he used a Seastones segment featuring Ned Lagin. William cleverly inserted crowd reaction between “jams” and an encore break ahead of the mix’s wild conclusion. Listen to William Tyler’s Feedback Mix:
