NPR has shared a behind-the-scenes 360˚video of Wilco’s Tiny Desk Concert performance of “Misunderstood.” Watch the interactive clip below after the video of the full set.
Chicago-based rock band Wilco is the latest group to be featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert video series. The six-piece performed a stripped-down four-song set in the intimate confines of NPR Music’s Bob Boilen’s office desk.
The appearance at NPR Music headquarters in Washington D.C. saw Jeff Tweedy and the band begin with “The Joke Explained” from their 2015 surprise-released LP Star Wars, followed by “Misunderstood” – the opening track from their 1996 album Being There and “I’m Always In Love” and “A Shot In The Arm” from 1999’s Summerteeth.
In a recent interview, Tweedy revealed Wilco has a new album recorded and ready to be released later this year. The group also confirmed a hometown concert in Chicago’s Millennium Park in August.
