Widespread Panic rolled out official video featuring “Impossible” from their 2016 three-night stand at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. “Impossible” was the penultimate song of the sextet’s first set on June 25, 2016.
“Impossible” was debuted by Widespread Panic on August 4, 1988 at the Uptown Lounge in Athens, Georgia as per Everyday Companion. The song has been a mainstay of the WSP repertoire for most of its history with a few exceptions. Panic went 246 shows between plays spanning April 27, 2002 – December 31, 2005.

While “Impossible” has never been released on a Widespread Panic studio album, it did find its way onto the band’s first live album. 1998’s Light Fuse Get Away features a version of “Impossible” recorded in 1997.
June 25, 2016 marked the second show of Panic’s traditional three-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. “Impossible” came after “Bust It Big” and led into the “Bowlegged Woman” that ended the evening’s first set.
