The big news of the day is Tool‘s announcement of a forthcoming U.S. Tour. Tool has only played one set this year and it took place on Halloween at the Monster Mash Festival in Tempe, Arizona. For today’s Full Show Friday let’s look at the best video footage available of the entire 100-minute set.
Tool took the stage dressed as the members of Led Zeppelin and opened with a cover of “No Quarter,” a song they played a number of times in the ’90s but hadn’t performed since 1998. The set also featured extended versions of “Opiate,” “Schism” and “Stinkfist” and saw Keenan perform “The Grudge” with his mates for the first time since 2002. In addition, Tool debuted an instrumental dubbed “Descending.”
