Warren Haynes Jams With Dave Matthews Band On ‘Tripping Billies’: Multi-Cam Video

On November 30, the Dave Matthews Band teamed with old friend Warren Haynes for a pair of songs at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Warren added to a cover of Neil Young’s “Cortez The Killer” and the DMB original “Tripping Billies.” Videographer ChesterCopperpot5 put together footage from five different sources and paired it with taper audio to create a supercut video of “Tripping Billies.”

Haynes is no stranger to the DMB stage having sat-in over 50 times with the group dating back to 1993. While the Gov’t Mule/Allman Brothers Band guitarist had performed 10 previous versions of “Cortez The Killer” with DMB, he had never made a guest appearance on “Tripping Billies” prior to November 30.
