Warren Haynes And Ashes & Dust Band Play ‘Crazy Fingers’

Warren Haynes brought the Ashes & Dust Tour to The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami on Thursday night. Backed by Jeff Sipe and ChessBoxer, Haynes treated fans in Florida to the tour’s first take on “Crazy Fingers” by the Grateful Dead.

Thursday’s concert also saw frequent tour guests Justin Townes Earle and Paul Niehaus again join the Ashes & Dust Band during the encore. Near the middle of the single-set show, Haynes & Co. debuted their rendition of “Crazy Fingers.” Haynes is no stranger to the Robert Hunter/Jerry Garcia song, having performed it in several settings including with Phil Lesh & Friends and as part of the The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration.
