Vulfpeck Welcomes Bridget Kearney In Dublin

Vulfpeck recently kicked off a short European tour that saw them perform a pair of shows at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Ireland on Monday and Tuesday. The Michigan-born band nodded to local legends U2 with a different cover each night and welcomed Lake Street Dive bassist Bridget Kearney to sit in with them for a tune at both shows.

Monday night’s gig saw the funk outfit offer up the live debuts of “Lost My Treble Long Ago” from the forthcoming Hill Climber and “Grandma” off 2017’s Mr Finish Line, along with a take on U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” The following night Vulfpeck looked to the Irish rockers’ 1984 album Unforgettable Fire for “Pride (In The Name Of Love)” along with covers from Stevie Wonder, The Four Seasons and The Temptations. Kearney joined the band each night to add stand-up bass on “Beastly” from Vulfpeck’s 2011 EP Mit Peck. Watch fan-shot video from each night below:
