Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig & HAIM Share ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ Cover

Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig celebrated Christmas by hosting a late-night jam session with some friends. The musician posted a portion of the festivities on his Instagram account sharing a cover of the holiday classic “The Little Drummer Boy” that also featured what appears to be Danielle and Este Haim of HAIM

Koenig penned the following message about what he considers a Top Three Christmas song:

All you have to give is…a drum solo. You only get one shot. Do not miss your chance to blow. This opportunity comes once in a lifetime. You wail on the snare for a solid 20 minutes. Paradiddles upon paradiddles. You collapse in exhaustion. Did he like it? It’s unclear…until he smiles. You killed it, drummer boy.
