Unknown Mortal Orchestra Covers ‘Shakedown Street’ On ‘Conan

An expanded version of New Zealand’s Unknown Mortal Orchestra featuring backing vocalists were the musical guest on last night’s episode of Conan. UMO performed the cover of “Shakedown Street” they contributed to the recently released Day Of The Dead tribute to the Grateful Dead for their Conan debut on Tuesday night.

Last night’s performance from UMO comes after The National tackled “Morning Dew” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and Courtney Barnett trotted out “New Speedway Boogie” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
