Umphreys McGee UMBowl On The Move In 2015

One of the best days of the year for Umphrey’s McGee’s faithful legion of Umphreaks is UMBowl Day, when the band presents a football-themed, four-set performance. UMBowl was first held in Chicago back in 2010 and subsequent years until it was moved to Port Chester this year. The annual spectacle will return in 2015 and we’ve got our first hint about where UMBowl VI will be held.

Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist responded to a question about next year’s UMBowl in a new interview by saying, “We’ll have some details about UMBowl sometime in the next month and a half, but I will say that we have another new location for it this year, and that is all I can say at this point. But it’s gonna be definitely the most epic UMBowl weekend yet.” We asked Team Umphrey’s for clarification on whether this rules out Chicago as well as Port Chester and they confirmed UMBowl will be in an entirely new city in 2015. Tomorrow, Umphrey’s kicks off a four-night Midwest run that concludes on Saturday night with the band’s 2,000th show. Each performance will be webcast via TourGigs.
