Umphrey’s McGee To Screen ‘Reel To Real’ In NYC

On New Year’s Day Umphrey’s McGee held a special “Reel To Real” event at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, during which they premiered their self-produced archival documentary film Reel To Real. Today the band has announced the New York City premiere of Reel To Real, with a matinee screening scheduled for January 23 at SVA Theatre in Chelsea.

The band will be in NYC for a three-night stand at the famed Beacon Theatre on January 21, 22 and 23. The film will be shown Saturday, January 23 at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be followed by a Q&A with director Jefferson Waful, creator Kevin Browning and members of UM. Reserved seating tickets go on sale on Monday, January 11 at 12 p.m. ET via this link.
