Irish rockers U2 began the North American leg of their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour on Wednesday night with a performance at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The setlist for the first show of the tour in support of their 2017 album Songs Of Experience and its companion 2015 LP Songs Of Innocence included several rarities and live debuts throughout.

The concert marked U2’s return to Tulsa for the first time since June 1983. It was also the first U2 show in Oklahoma since October 2009. The first song of the night was “Love Is All We Have Left,” a song frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge had only played once prior at the funeral for David Kavanagh earlier this year.

Next up was the first public performance of “The Blackout,” a song fans had only seen U2 play live while filming a music video. A few songs later U2 launched into the first “All Because Of You” since 2006 and the second performance of “The Ocean” since 2005. “Until the End of the World” closed out the first set of the tour.

The second half the concert was also dotted with rarities, including the long-awaited live debut of “Acrobat” from the 1991 album Achtung Baby. Bono & Co. also treated fans to an acoustic “Staring At The Sun,” for its first live appearance since 2001. The four-song encore started off with the final bust out, as “Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses?” was played for the first time since 2006. The show ended without any songs from The Joshua Tree following last year’s tour in support of the album’s 30th anniversary.
