Twiddle Welcomes Chris Houser In Columbus

Vermont jam quartet Twiddle brought their spring tour to Skully’s Music Diner in Columbus on Saturday night. The band was joined by guitarist Chris Houser of The Werks for three songs as part of the concert.
Houser first emerged early in the show to help out on “Milk.” Twiddle then went on to end the opening stanza by working a rare cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower” into their own “Mamunes The Faun.” Chris returned to augment Twiddle on a version of “Orlando’s” that kicked off the second set. Twiddle would fit another inventive segment into the show with a sequence of “Invisible Ink” > “Country Roads” > “Invisible Ink” later in the second set.

Columbus Twiddle fans would witness one more collaboration with local favorite Chris Houser. The evening’s encore saw The Werks’ axeman add to a cover of Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters.” Next up for Twiddle is a pair of shows at Ithaca’s State Theatre on April 13 and 14.
