Trigger Hippy To Roll On Without Jackie Greene

Yesterday guitarist Jackie Greene announced his departure from supergroup Trigger Hippy leaving the future of the band in doubt. Today the group issued a statement about Greene’s departure confirming Trigger Hippy will continue on.

“Want to let everyone know that Trigger Hippy is rolling on without Jackie Greene. We wish him all the best. Rest assured we will be getting our full tilt boogie on at the The Full Tilt Boogie – August 22 in Vermont. See you there!” reads the note from the band. As for now there’s no word on whether Trigger Hippy will bring aboard another guitar player for The Full Tilt Boogie and beyond. Stay tuned!
