Trey Anastasio Performs ‘The Way I Feel’ At The Beacon Jams: Pro-Shot Video

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio shared official video of “The Way I Feel” from his latest The Beacon Jams livestream concert at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Friday, October 23. Anastasio was backed by the musicians who have served as his core band for each of the first three The Beacon Jams: drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Tony Markellis, percussionist Cyro Baptista and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski.
“The Way I Feel” followed the pairing of “Stealing Time From The Faulty Plan” and “Party Time” that kicked off this past Friday’s livestream concert. Anastasio was talkative throughout the nearly 12-minute version of the TAB staple. He shouted out a few of those who participated in the Twitch chat and shared his appreciation for a big donation the Poster Nutbag Art Group made to the Divided Sky Fund.

Trey also responded to a question from a Twitch user asking about his favorite snack. “Whatever it is, I’m definitely going to spatchcock it,” Anastasio quipped. He went on to note, “you can spatchcock anything!” He then introduced Paczkowski as “Saul from Homeland.”
