Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio shared video of “Stash” from his The Beacon Jams series. Anastasio delivered the Phish classic on October 9 during the first of eight Beacon Jams livestream concerts from The Beacon Theatre in New York City
Trey performed the stripped-down “Stash” about halfway through the set alongside frequent collaborator Jeff Tanski on piano and Trey Anastasio Band percussionist Cyro Baptista on handclaps. Baptista’s percussive handclaps were remeiscient of the handclaps Phish fans deliver during the song.

While “Stash” is vintage Phish — debuted on September 13, 1990 at The Wetlands in New York City — the song is one of a number of Phish tunes that made it into the Trey Anastasio Band repertoire. TAB debuted “Stash” on September 18 at the 2004 Austin City Limits Music Festival and TAB last played the tune on September 29, 2017 in Atlanta, as per Phish.net.
