Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio was among the guests on the latest installment of public radio program Live From Here. Pro-shot videos featuring Trey’s performances of “Theme From The Bottom,” “If I Could” and “A Life Beyond The Dream” with host Chris Thile, Sarah Jarosz and the Live From Here house band have been shared on the show’s YouTube channel.

Trey’s first appearance of the episode saw the guitarist team with Thile, Jarosz, guitarist Mike Eldridge, fiddler Brittany Haas, drummer Kush Abadey, bassist Mike Elizondo and keyboardist Brett Williams for “Theme From The Bottom.” Phish debuted the song in 1995 and issued a studio version as part of 1996’s Billy Breathes.

Next, the ensemble made their way through “If I Could,” a tune Phish debuted and released on Hoist in 1994. Jarosz dueted with Anastasio in a similar fashion to Alison Krauss’ appearance on Hoist. Later in the episode, Trey led the band through the Ghosts Of The Forest number “A Life Beyond The Dream.”
