The latest episode of Live From Here ended with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio teaming with the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis for a performance of “Blaze On.” Pro-shot video of Saturday’s “Blaze On” is among the first batch of clips shared from this weekend’s installment on the Live From Here YouTube channel.
As reported, Anastasio also performed a handful of songs with host Chris Thile and the Live From Here house band during the episode. One such number was a romp through Chuck Berry’s “Born In The U.S.A.” that came during the episode’s “Musician Birthdays” segment. Additionally, Marsalis and the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra played a few tunes including a Miles Davis-inspired take on Thom Yorke‘s “Daily Battles.”
