By Nate Todd Oct 13, 2019 • 9:40 am PDT

Trey Anastasio performed on Live From Here at The Town Hall in New York City on Saturday. The Phish guitarist peppered a number of songs throughout the public radio program and welcomed guests who were also performing on the show as well as host Chris Thile. Live From Here shared video from the entire show.
Anastasio opened up his first segment (at 00:11:30) with “Theme From The Bottom” and “If I Could.” Trey welcomed Chris Eldridge on guitar, Brittany Haas on fiddle, Chris Thile on mandolin and vocals, Mike Elizondo on bass, Kush Abadey on drums, and Brett Williams on keys as well as guest performer Sarah Jarosz on guitar and vocals.
Anastasio would continue with the same group (at around 1:29:00) with Chuck Berry’s “Back In The U.S.A.” for the first time since performing it with TAB in 2017 followed by “Life Beyond A Dream.” To close out the show (around 2:06:30), Trey joined guest performer Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra for a jazzy “Blaze On” ahead of a group jam on the legendary Lester Flatt’s bluegrass classic “I’m Gonna Sleep With One Eye Open.” The song was a live debut for Trey.
