Noah Cyrus & Kashus Culpepper Join Shaboozey At Red Rocks Debut

Shaboozey made his Red Rocks debut on Tuesday. The performance on an extremely rainy night at the famed Colorado venue saw the genre-blending country star welcoming openers Noah Cyrus and Kashus Culpepper.

The Red Rocks premiere for Shaboozey comes in support of his new concept album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, which arrived on July 31. The singer-songwriter opened his RRX show with the LP’s “Til Sunday.”

Shaboozey also performed The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales cuts “High Noon,” “Sweet Revenge,” “If I Was an Outlaw,” “Burn It Down,” “Drunk” and “Bullets & Blades.”

Additionally, the show saw Shaboozey touching on his 2024 breakout album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, including “My Fault.” Noah Cyrus appears on the studio version of “My Fault” and reunited with Shaboozey at Red Rocks to perform their collaboration from the LP.

Shaboozey also brought out fellow singer-songwriter Kashus Culpepper for a rendition of the Tyler Childers favorite “Whitehouse Road.” Later, Shaboozey offered a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” before closing out the main set with The Outlaw Cherie Lee track “Cowgirl.”

Shaboozey’s two-song encore got underway with another The Outlaw Cherie Lee tune, “Lone Survivor.” The concert came to a close with the 2024 smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
