Trey Anastasio Premieres New Song ‘If I Could See The World’

It’s been nearly a month since Phish guitarist released a new song while self-quarantining in New York City. The streak ends today with “If I Could See The World,” a new track Anastasio posted via a video featuring a tour of his apartment that stars his cat, Joey.

While many of Trey’s “quarantine songs” have come with a long note from the guitarist, the title of the song is the only information shared by Anastasio with his latest creation. In the video, Anastasio is seen singing and playing acoustic guitar. However, “If I Could See The World” also features what sounds like multiple tracks of electric guitar, drums, piano, bass and backing vocals.

“If I Could See The World” is the 15th song shared by Anastasio since March 18. Watch the video for the track below:
