Earlier this year Phish spent time in the studio, where they are thought to be working on their 13th studio album. While few details about the sessions have emerged, a brief profile of the quartet’s upcoming summer tour in a Rolling Stone feature mentioned guitarist Trey Anastasio expects Phish to debut some of the songs recorded on the road.

Anastasio discussed how good he was feeling towards the end of 2015, when Phish played a four-show New Year’s Run at Madison Square Garden in New York City. “By New Year’s, I just felt so loose,” the guitarist said. “It reminds me of 1994, 1995. I kinda miss that.” Trey is very happy with where the band is at as he added, “We’re firing on all cylinders. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we all turned 50, but there’s a patience and a desire to really hear what the other band members have to say.”

Phish begins Summer Tour in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 22.
