Trey Anastasio Performs ‘Everything’s Right’ & ‘…And Flew Away’ At Beacon Theatre

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio shared official video of two songs from his first The Beacon Jams livestream concert. Anastasio unveiled footage of “Everything’s Right” and “…And Flew Away” from this past Friday’s show at The Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The October 9th performance was the first of eight weekly The Beacon Jams concerts that will be livestreamed from the venue each Friday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via Twitch. Anastasio was joined by percussionist Cyro Baptista, drummer Russ Lawton, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and bassist Tony Markellis for the bulk of Friday’s show. Pianist Jeff Tanski also sat-in on a few numbers.

The pairing of “Everything’s Right” and “…And Flew Away” came towards the end of the two-and-a-half hour performance. “Everything’s Right” was first played by the Trey Anastasio Band in 2017 and entered the Phish repertoire the same year. Phish released a studio version of “Everything’s Right” on their Sigma Oasis album earlier this year. Anastasio wrote “…And Flew Away” while self-quarantining in his New York City apartment. The song was included on his Lonely Trip LP and the version at the Beacon was its live debut.
