Tour Dates | Sturgill Simpson Adds September Shows

Singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson has expanded his current touring itinerary, adding a new batch of shows this September upon returning from a European tour in August. The new run of concerts focuses primarily on the East Coast of the United States.

Simpson is currently scheduled to hit up several festivals in June and July including Firefly, Big Barrel, Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic, Eaux Claires 2015,  Newport Folk Festival and others. He plays Red Rocks with The Avett Brothers on July 11, and on July 24, 29 and 30 Sturgill will appear with Old Crow Medicine Show at various cities. He will hit up Metro in Chicago on July 31 before performing at Lollapalooza the next day. On August 2 Simpson re-teams with Old Crow Medicine Show to play White River State Park in Indianapolis before he heads to Europe on August 14 for a run of shows abroad that sees him stopping at several more festivals.

On September 6 he heads to Fargo for a show with Merle Haggard & Kris Kristofferson and will also open for the pair on September 7 at the Minnesota State Fair. Simpson picks back up solo with the newly revealed September gigs, hitting up the East Coast with concerts in Washington D.C., Boston, New York City and more.
