Tour Dates | La Luz Announces Extensive Tour

Seattle-based surf-doo-wop group La Luz has revealed an extensive tour in support of their upcoming sophomore album, Weirdo Shrine, which will be issued by Hardly Art on August 7. The new dates have the foursome travelling across North America and Europe over the next several months.

The quartet composed of guitarist Shana Cleveland, drummer Marian Li Pino, keyboardist Alice Sandahl and bassist Lena Simon have a smattering of gigs planned in the Seattle area, including a show tonight at the Sunset Tavern and a show on August 7 at the Showbox at the Market which kicks off their tour proper. From their hometown La Luz then heads down the West Coast before starting an East Coast run on August 17 at The Liberty Bar in Tallahassee, Florida. The band then makes their way through the Midwest beginning with a gig in Cleveland, Ohio at Euclid Tavern on September 2. A final North American stop on September 11 at Neurolux in  Boise, Idaho precedes the European leg of the tour which starts September 18 in Tilburg, Netherlands at the Incubate Festival and runs through several other countries before returning to the Netherlands on October 24 at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.

Joining the band at various stops on their tour includes Gazebos, Tierra Magos, Tacocat, The Dead Milkmen,Cool Ghouls, Will Sprott, Wild Creatures, Boytoy, Scully, Today’s Hits, Michael Rault and more.
