Tour Dates | Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey & Mike Dillon Band

Two acts with a long history together –Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey and the Mike Dillon Band -will come together starting on March 19 for a 16-date tour. The run begins in Boulder on March 19 and is currently slated to continue through an April 11th performance in Norman, OK.

“The first time I saw Mike Dillon he was buck ass naked taking a timbale solo with Billy Goat at Eclipse in Tulsa,” said JFJO pianist Brian Haas in a statement. “I was 17 and it changed my life forever. Now JFJO is doing an entire tour with this amazing man and his brilliant band. We can’t wait to get out there and play these shows.” Both acts also share the same label -The Royal Potato Family. The Mike Dillon Band’s new studio album, Band Of Outsiders, is due on April 1. Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey will celebrate their 20th anniversary with Millions: Live In Denver -a limited-edition release set for Record Store Day (April 19).
