Tour Dates | David Gilmour Announces First Tour In Nine Years

Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has just announced his first tour since 2006. Gilmour will play a series of dates in Europe & the U.K. this September to coincide with the upcoming release of as of yet untitled fourth solo album.

The guitarist and his solo band begin the run at the historic Roman amphitheatre – Arena Pula, Croatia on September 12. Gilmour’s tour will continue through some of the world’s most beautiful cities and venues as he’ll visit Verona’s amphitheatre, the Verona Arena on September 14 and the Teatro Le Mulina in Florence, Italy on September 15. The tour then moves to France where it continues on September 17 in Orange at the Theatre Antique d’Orange, before Germany’s Oberhausen Konig-Pilsener-Arena hosts Gilmour on September 19. David is currently scheduled to bring the tour to a close with three consecutive nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall on September 23 -25. There’s no word as of yet about North American dates.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. GMT.
