Top Philadelphia Music Festivals For 2023

The inaugural Adjacent Music Festival will feature over 40 acts playing across three stages on Atlantic City Beach. Blink-182 and Paramore will headline the premiere two-day event. Others on the lineup include Japanese Breakfast, The Starting Line, Mannequin Pussy, Bleachers, Thursday, Midtown, Folly, The Front Bottoms, Turnstile, Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World, IDLES, PUP, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and more.

Hip-hop veterans and Philly-natives The Roots will once again host this year’s Roots Picnic at The Mann. Performers appearing over three days include Ms. Lauryn Hill Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Lil Uzi Vert, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Maverick City, DJ Drama, Saucy Santana, Uncle Waffles, Lucky Daye, Syd, GloRilla, The Isley Brothers, Roy Ayers, Black Thought, Eve, Busta Rhymes and many others.

Enjoy tasty brews and rocking music at The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival. Head out to Bader Field for two days of beer and tunes with Dropkick Murphys, 311, Phoneboy, Sensamotion, Jesse Ahern and The Pipes and Drums of The Ocean County Emerald Society.

Shoes are optional at the 2023 Barefoot Country Music Fest. Head out to Wildwood Beach for the four-day event featuring performances by country stars like Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Parker McCollum, Lady A, Jon Pardi and dozens of others.

Beardfest is back to celebrate its 11th anniversary with a weekend of music and camping at Paradise Lake Campground in Hammonton, New Jersey. Join the party with Out of the Beardspace, Spafford, Pink Talking Fish, Dogs In A Pile, Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music, Isaiah Sharkey, SNACKTIME, Johnny Showcase & The Mystic Ticket and Yam Yam, alongside several additional performers.

Sussex County Fairgrounds will host this year’s Rock, Ribs, & Ridges Festival. Come see performances by Blackberry Smoke, Samantha Fish, 38 Special, The Devon Allman Project, Artimus Pyle and more.

The Peach Music Festival 2023 once again brings the jam to Montage Mountain this summer. The Peach lineup for the four-day fest is led by Goose, My Morning Jacket, Ween and Tedeschi Trucks Band.

The long-running Briggs Farm Blues Festival will take over Briggs Farm for three days of blues and more. This year’s performers include Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Joanna Connor Band, The Doug McMinn Blues Band, Victor Wainwright, Super Chikan, R.L. Boyce and more.

Maplewoodstock returns to Memorial Park in Maplewood, New Jersey for two days highlighting the local arts and music community. Performers at the free event include Mihali, Louis Cato, Red Baraat, Remember Jones and others.

Be yourself at the Kempton Community Music Center for the 2023 Inclusion Festival. Dance along to the sounds of Flux Capacitor, Miss Cantaloupe, Knorrwood, Dirty Mae, The Middle Ages, Chakra, DJ Lee Ross and Justin Mazer, and several others.

Artimus Pyle Band, Riko & Whaler Collective, Juggling Suns Project, Dose Hermanos, Dogs In A Pile, Divided Sky, Ayreheart and many others are on the lineup for the 2023 edition of Weekend At Bertha’s. The three-day fest will be held at the Fire Base Lloyd in Townsend, Delaware.

Elements Music & Arts Festival combines musical performances by the top names in EDM and other genres with immersive art installations, transformative workshops and more. Chris Lake, Ganja White Night, Gorgon City, John Summit, Lane 8, Porter Robinson, Rezz, Seven Lions, Skrillex, Subtronics, STS9, Elderbrook, Eli & Fur, Giolì & Assia and Lotus are among the acts playing Elements 2023.

Big names in country music will crash Atlantic City Beach for this year’s TidalWave festival. The three-day event will see performances by Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Cole Swindell, Jelly Roll, Dustin Lynch, Randy Houser, Dylan Scott, Jo Dee Messina, Mitchell Tenpenny, Lindsay Ell and others.

Curated by hip-hop icon Jay-Z, Made In America returns over Labor Day Weekend. Stay tuned for what’s sure to be an impressive, Jay-Z-curated lineup.

Sting and Shaggy will co-headline a lineup they curated for the inaugural One Fine Day festival The Mann. Other performers include Thundercat, Koffee, Tank and the Bangas, G. Love & Special Sauce, Kes, Flor De Toloache and Giordana Angi.

Sea.Hear.Now Festival 2023 music and surf festival will once again take place in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Acts performing at North Beach Asbury Park include Foo Fighters, The Killers, Greta Van Fleet, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Sheryl Crow, Weezer, Rebelution and Mt. Joy, alongside several other acts.

WXPN’s XPoNential Music Festival 2023 is back for another two days of music along the Camden Waterfront in New Jersey. For the first time in over a decade, XPoNential performances will be held exclusively at Wiggins Park. The Philly-based public radio station tapped Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, The Hold Steady, Tegan and Sara, Allison Russell, Celisse, Low Cut Connie, Sunny War, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Bailen, Leyla McCalla and more for this year’s fest.

SwanFest‘s third year marks its first East Coast edition. Performing at the single-day event taking place at The Mann Center will be Dance Gavin Dance, Periphery, Set It Off, SiM, Body Thief, Dwellings, Rain City Drive, Stolas and Within Destruction.

Six independent venues across Philadelphia host the week-long Philly Music Fest. Presenting a lineup of local musicians, among those slated to appear are Kurt Vile & The Violators, Marian Hill, Purling Hiss, Chris Forsyth and Mo Lowda & the Humble, alongside other Philly-based musicians.
