Top Denver Music Festivals For 2022

The 2022 Country Jam Colorado camping and music festival takes place over three days at Jam Ranch in Mack, just outside Grand Junction. Catch many of the biggest names in country music, including Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church performing alongside many others.

Experience the June installment of Jazz Aspen Snowmass over four days at 10 different venues in downtown Aspen. See highly elevated performances by Kamasi Washington, Keb’ Mo’, Poncho Sanchez, Christian McBride, Take 6, Southern Avenue, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Natalie Cressman & Ian Faquini, and more.

Colorado’s own Magic Beans host this year’s Beanstalk Music Festival along the banks of the Colorado River at Rancho Del Rio. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Beanstalk 2022 includes a lineup featuring Magic Beans, as well as ALO, The Main Squeeze, Aqueous, Dopapod, Cycles, Tenth Mountain Division, Pixie And The Partygrass Boys and The Jauntee, among others.

Color Field Colorado brings a spectrum of music to Levitt Pavilion. Held over three-days, the EDM-loaded lineup features Shpongle, Tycho, Opiuo, RJD2, Flamingosis, Washed Out, Emancipator, and many others.

Blues From The Top returns to Rendezvous Event Center to celebrate its 20th anniversary year. Hosted by Grand County Blues Society, acts slated to perform over the event’s three days include Gov’t Mule, Big Head Todd and The Monsters,Tab Benoit, Charlie Musselwhite, Larkin Poe and Southern Avenue, alongside several others.

The RIDE Festival will once again be held among the majestic scenery of Telluride Town Park. The five-day fest will feature performances by the likes of North Mississippi Allstars, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, Black Pistol Fire, Arc Angels, Black Pistol Fire, James McMurtry and Suzanne Santo.

EDM performers from around the world will descend upon Empower Field at Mile High for this year’s Global Dance Festival. The two-day event will host sets by dozens of DJs and producers, everyone from Above & Beyond to Zoa, with many others between.

Cheyenne Frontier Days, the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration, takes place over nine days at Frontier Park. Performers include many well-known country music artists like Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt and Koe Wetzel.

RockyGrass, originally founded by Bill Monroe and members of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society, returns to Planet Bluegrass for the 50th annual installment of the music festival. The three-day event high in the Rocky Mountains will feature appearances from Hot Rize, Sam Bush Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Del McCoury Band, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Earls Of Leicester, Darrell Scott’s Bluegrass Band, Peter Rowan’s Bluegrass Band, We Banjo 3, and more.

Meow Wolf Denver hosts the inaugural Vortex music festival at the all new open-air venue in downtown Denver called The Junk Yard. The three-day festival features an eclectic lineup topped by Toro y Moi, Duke Dumont, Pabllo Vittar, Channel Tres, 100 gecs, Bladee, Dixon, Sad Night Dynamite, Bob Moses, Boy Harsher, Neil Frances and Maya Jane Coles.

Spend three days at Baldwin Park in scenic Estes Park for the 7th annual SnowyGrass Music Festival. The lineup for Estes Park’s longest-running bluegrass fest features The Seldom Scene, Lindsay Lou, The Way Down Wanderers, The Sweet Lillies and many others from the world of bluegrass and beyond.

Head to the heart of the Rocky Mountains for the 45th annual Telluride Jazz Festival. Held over three days at Telluride Town Park, the event’s lineup features the likes of Yola, Cory Wong, Terence Blanchard, The Motet with Jennifer Hartswick, Shira Elias & Jason Hann, among many others.

Adventure-travel brand Fort Desolation brings back its Fort Desolation Fest with a lineup that includes Amos Lee, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Elle King, Band Of Heathens, Rayland Baxter, Heartless Bastards, Elizabeth Cook and more. The second annual event featuring adventures by day and music at night will take place at Cougar Ridge Resort.

For more than three decades, Rocky Mountain Folks Festival has brought songwriters of all genres to Planet Bluegrass for three days of music, camping, and inspiration. This year’s “Summit on the Song” will see performances by Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Ani DiFranco, Rodney Crowell, Indigo Girls, Robert Earl Keen, Yola and John Craigie, alongside several other talented musicians.

Deed Entertainment presents the SuperGrass Fresh Festival at Veterans Park at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. The all ages, two-day fest’s lineup features Dwight Yoakam, Iron & Wine, The Infamous Stringdusters, Ben Kweller, Craig Finn, Hot Buttered Rum, Lily Meola, Neighbor, and more.

Set among the scenic San Louis Valley, the Seven Peaks Music Festival is a three-day music and camping event. Many top modern country and bluegrass acts will perform at the festival, including Dierks Bentley, Morgan Wallen, Tracy Lawrence, Ashley McBryde, HARDY, Jordan Davis, Old Crow Medicine Show and Lainey Wilson.

Founded in 1991, Jazz Aspen Snowmass returns over Labor Day Weekend for another three days of music in the mountains. Snowmass Town Park will see performances by Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, Leon Bridges, Little Big Town, Zach Bryan, Patrick Droney and Marc Broussard.

Westword Music Showcase will take place outside of the Mission Ballroom. The music lineup includes The Flaming Lips, Saint Motel, KennyHoopla, Wet Leg, Cannons and The Main Squeeze, along with more than 75 local acts performing at over 10 venues in the RINO art district.

High Ground Music & Arts Experience returns to Colorado as an expanded two-day event at the Denver Polo Club. International and local acts will perform across two stages with TroyBoi, Chromeo, TOKiMONSTA, What So Not, Elohim, Giolì & Assia, Shallou, Aluna, Maddy O’Neal, Covex, Dafna, NoMBe, Shae District, Spirit Motel and Who’s Calling among those set to perform.

Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is a multi-stage celebration of music and craft beer offering three days and nights of world-class music with breathtaking mountain peaks for a backdrop. Telluride Town Park will host performances by Gov’t Mule, Buddy Guy, CeeLo Green, Samantha Fish, John Hiatt, The War and Treaty, Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, and more.

Monolith On The Mesa is back at Taos Mesa Brewing Mothership for the first time in two years. The hard-rocking lineup features The Obsessed, Mars Red Sky, Eyehategod, Belzebong, Duel, Ecstatic Vision, Heavy Temple, Warhorse, and several others.
