The 2016 installment of Aftershock will be held at Discovery Park in Sacramento on October 22 and 23. Today, organizers of the hard rock/heavy metal festival have announced the lineup for this year’s festival which includes JamBase favorites Tool and Primus.

Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Meshuggah, Anthrax, Korn, Disturbed and Puscifer are also among the 35 bands set to play Aftershock’s three stages. The full lineup broken down by day can be found below. “We’re excited to give fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, Primus, Slayer, Korn, Disturbed and the rest of this great lineup all together during this special weekend. Discovery Park is such a unique venue that allows us to put on an experience on a grand scale, but in an intimate setting that sets Aftershock apart,” said festival founder Danny Wimmer.

Tool announced a handful of October shows yesterday and were revealed to be on the Voodoo lineup earlier today. Primus is on hiatus while Les Claypool focuses on The Claypool Lennon Delirium and this is the only confirmed performance for the trio as of press time.
