Tool Taps Primus, Mastodon & More For New Destination Event In Dominican Republic

Tool announced Tool Live In The Sand, a new destination event taking place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from March 7 – 9, 2025. Primus, Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal and Coheed and Cambria are among the acts on the inaugural fest’s lineup.

Organized by Festication, Tool Live In The Sand will feature two sets by Tool. The musical lineup also includes King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, CKY and Moon Walker. Longtime Tool visual collaborators Alex Grey and Allyson Grey will be part of the experience.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the news that Primus, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria will be joining us for our first-ever Caribbean performance at Tool In The Sand,” Tool’s Justin Chancellor stated. “2025 is shaping up nicely. All-inclusive accommodations are available at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and The Royalton Resort. Packages come with a hotel room and unlimited food and drinks. Off-site activities will be offered for excursions such as snorkeling, boat trips and more.
