Todd Snider was joined by old pal JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic for the December 6th edition of his First Agnostic Church of Hope & Wonder livestream series. Snider shared video featuring his cover of JJ Cale’s “Crazy Mama” that was played with Jojo.

Jojo emerged at the end of Todd’s main set on piano for the Snider original “Don’t Tempt Me,” a take on Billy Joe Shaver’s “I’m Just An Old Chunk Of Coal (But I’m Gonna Be A Diamond Someday)” and the aforementioned “Crazy Mama” cover. JJ Cale originally released “Crazy Mama” on Naturally, his debut studio album, in 1972.
