Each Sunday, troubadour Todd Snider performs a What It Is livestream from The Purple Building in East Nashville. One of Snider’s recent weekly livestreams included a powerful rendition of the Beatles’ classic “All You Need Is Love.”
The Beatles originally premiered “All You Need Is Love” during the Our World global television special on June 25, 1967. “All You Need Is Love” was then issued as a single the next month with “Baby You’re A Rich Man” as the B-side.

While The Beatles were joined by horns and strings, Snider stripped “All You Need Is Love” down to its bare bones for his solo rendition. Todd fit his cover of the song into the What It Is session on Sunday, August 9.
