Todd Snider shared a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son.” The clip comes from the Sunday, November 29 edition of the Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s recently renamed weekly livestream series, The First Agnostic Church of Hope and Wonder with Todd Snider.

“Fortunate Son” appears on CCR’s 1969 album, Willy and the Poor Boys, and is an anti-war anthem as well as a scathing critique on nepotism. Snider included “Fortunate Son” on his 2008 album, Peace Queer, which was one of the albums the singer-songwriter performed (along with Eastside Bulldog) in its entirety last Sunday.
