Tinariwen Shares ‘Amadjar’ Mini-Documentary

Tuareg musicians Tinariwen unveiled a mini-documentary entitled Amajdar. The 21-minute film shares the title of the band’s new album, which was released on September 6 via ANTI-.
The mini-documentary was directed by Celidja Pornon and filmed in the Morrocan Sahara and in Mauritania. Amajdar features footage of the band on the road and on stage. Founder Ibrahim Ag Alhabib gives a rare interview as part of the mini-documentary, which also captures Tinariwen recording Amajdar and performing around a fire.
