Umphrey’s McGee celebrated their 20th anniversary with their third straight show at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday night. The group’s Beacon finale was a truly career-spanning performance as they worked their way through original songs from their most recent back to ones dating from their earliest shows.

“Half Delayed,” which was debuted on December 30, 2017 and included on their recently issued studio album it’s not us, opened Sunday’s concert. From there it was the 2016 debut “North Route,” 2015’s “Draconian,” 2014’s “Similar Skin,” 2013’s “No Diablo,” 2012’s “Comma Later,” 2011’s “Puppet String,” 2010’s “No Comment” and 2009’s “1348.” The set ended in 2008 with a closing rendition of “Gulf Stream.“

The second set opened with the 2007 debut “The Floor” followed by 2006’s “Eat” and 2005’s “Higgins.” The second frame also saw takes on 2004’s “Bridgeless,” 2003’s “Ocean Billy,” 2002’s “The Triple Wide,” 2001’s “Ringo” and 2000’s “40’s Theme.” The encore began with just the intro to 1999’s “All Things Ninja” followed by 1998’s “All In Time” that worked in elements of classic old-school UM tunes “10th Grade,” “Divisions” and “Nachos For Two,” along with AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.”
