‘Dad Of The Year’ Tim Heidecker Announces 2025 Tour Dates

Tim Heidecker announced an extensive North American tour for early 2025. The musician, comedian and actor also shared the single, “Dad Of The Year,” from his upcoming album, Slipping Away.

The tour will feature Heidecker backed by The Very Good Band — bassist Eliana Athayde, drummer Josh Adams, keyboardist Vic Berger and guitarist/pedal steel guitarist Connor “Catfish” Gallaher. Heidecker kicks off the tour on January 22 at Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco. He then heads to the Pacific Northwest for shows in Portland on January 24, Vancouver on January 25 and Seattle on January 26.

The tour continues in the Midwest with stops in Minneapolis on January 29, Madison (Wisconsin) on January 30, Chicago on January 31, Grand Rapids (Michigan) on February 1 and Detroit on February 2. Heidecker then crosses into Canada for a performance in Toronto on February 4 before returning stateside for a show in Cleveland on February 5.

February 6 sees Heidecker in Pittsburgh, followed by Philadelphia on February 7 and Brooklyn on February 8. The tour continues with stops in Boston on February 10, Washington D.C. on February 11, Durham (North Carolina) on February 12, Asheville (North Carolina) on February 13, Nashville on February 14 and Birmingham (Alabama) on February 15.

The comedian will perform in Atlanta on February 17, Orlando (Florida) on February 18 and Tampa (Florida) on February 19. Heidecker then heads to New Orleans for a show on February 21, followed by Texas stops in Houston on February 22 and Dallas on February 23. The tour concludes in Phoenix on February 25.

Various acts will support Heidecker on different legs of the tour. Neil Hamburger joins for select Midwest dates, while DJ Douggpound will open several East Coast shows. The tour will also feature yet-to-be-revealed openers and “Secret Surprise Guests” at various points.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 20.

Heidecker will release Slipping Away on October 18 via Bloodshot Records. The comedian/actor/singer-songwriter previously shared the LP’s lead single and opening track, “Well’s Running Dry” and its follow-up “Well’s Running Dry.” A third single, “Dad Of The Year,” arrived with an accompanying video featuring Heidecker’s actual father who might be recognizable from the Abso Lutely Productions closing logo featured at the end of Tim & Eric’s television programs.
