Thom Yorke Debuts ‘Daily Battles’ In Los Angeles


Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke ended his show last night at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with the live debut of his song “Daily Battles.” The song appears in the Edward Norton-directed feature film Motherless Brooklyn.

Yorke is touring with Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, the trio he formed with longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri. The Greek performance, like others on the tour, consisted of selections from Yorke’s solo releases The Eraser, Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and Anima as well as the Suspiria film soundtrack and Amok from his Atoms For Peace project.

The Motherless Brooklyn studio version of “Daily Battles” was released earlier this year featuring Atoms For Peace bassist Flea. Performing on keyboard during the final encore, Yorke’s live debut of “Daily Battles” was dedicated to Norton and can be viewed via jnl below:
