Thom Yorke Shares ‘Daily Battles’ Featuring Flea

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke shared “Daily Battles,” a song featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea recorded for the feature film Motherless Brooklyn. Acclaimed trumpeter Wynton Marsalis recorded an accompanying instrumental jazz arrangement of the song.
Edward Norton will make his directorial debut when Motherless Brooklyn premieres next month at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. The film is an adaptation of Jonathan Lethem’s 1999 novel. A 7-inch vinyl single with Yorke and Marsalis’ versions of “Daily Battles” comes out on October 4.
Flea, who is a member of Atoms For Peace with Yorke, contributed bass and trumpet to “Daily Battles” alongside Yorke’s piano and vocals. Listen to both versions of the song below:
