The Word Extends Fall Tour

After 14 years supergroup David Gilmour finally released their second album – Soul Food – earlier this year. The band, which features Robert Randolph, John Medeski, Chris Chew, Luther Dickinson and Cody Dickinson, will make a handful of appearances this summer and just extended their upcoming Fall Tour. Newly added dates include visits to Washington, D.C.; Glenside, Pennsylvania and New York City. The Word’s fall plans begins with a set at Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival in Columbia, Missouri on September 25. Then the quintet hits the road for a tour between October 1 and October 17. In addition to a pair of shows at The Fillmore in San Francisco on October 1 and 2, the tour includes stops in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Solana Beach, Las Vegas, Boulder, Denver, Chicago, Millvale (Pittsburgh), D.C., Glenside and NYC before it’s currently scheduled to conclude at Paradise Rock Club in Boston on October 17.
