By Scott Bernstein Sep 30, 2015 9:35 am PDT

This Friday The Wood Brothers release Paradise, the trio’s most rocking album to date and first featuring Chris Wood on electric bass, via Honey Jar Records/Thirty Tigers. You don’t have to wait until Friday to hear Paradise as the LP is available for streaming ahead of its release.

Chris Wood, Oliver Wood and Jano Nix came together in the same room to create the material featured on Paradise which makes for the most collaborative Wood Brothers album yet. The trio recorded the LP at Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studios. “Working on this record was a new adventure for us,” Oliver Wood told American Songwriter. “When we started we were without a label and without a producer. It was difficult and liberating at the same time. We didn’t realize until the process was over that the album had a deep and cohesive theme of longing, desire and salvation. It was an intense labor of love as we all three wrote and produced the entire project.”
