The Rolling Stones Hint At 2019 New York City-Area Appearance
Earlier this month, The Rolling Stones‘ iconic lips logo turned up at a number of U.S. football stadiums in what may be a hint of an upcoming tour announcement. The latest tease comes from the band themselves, who shared imagery of the lips rising over the Statue Of Liberty.
As Brooklyn Vegan pointed out, a report from NorthJersey.com pegs The Stones as performing at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on June 13 and/or June 17. New Orleans ABC affiliate WGNO brought up the possibility of The Rolling Stones making their Jazz Fest debut in 2019, while LMTonline mentioned an email sent from NRG Park in Houston with the band’s logo. Chicago, Denver and Foxborough (Massachusetts) are among other cities where the logo has turned up. As for now, The Rolling Stones have yet to confirm their 2019 tour plans.
