The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have inked a new deal with Better Noise Music. The group’s first release from their new label home is a “lost” song, “Home Improvement,” the band re-recorded to herald a forthcoming album set for a Spring 2025 release.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus formed in Jacksonville in 2004. The rockers would go on to have success with singles “Face Down,” “Your Guardian Angel” and 2006 debut album, Don’t You Fake It. The upcoming 2025 LP will mark the group’s first since 2018’s The Awakening.

The band — founder/guitarist/vocalist Ronnie Winter, multi-instrumentalist Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Esp and touring keyboardist Nadeem Salam — now continue their journey with a new label and record on the way.

The first taste of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ new album is “Home Improvement,” which was among songs demoed for Don’t You Fake It, but didn’t make the cut. The demos found their way on to the internet with fans labeling them “The Lost Songs.”

Ronnie Winter detailed “Home Improvement.”

“What’s old is new again,” he said. “We have reteamed with many of those involved with Don’t You Fake It for our upcoming album and we’re stoked to finally officially release a new recording of ‘Home Improvement’—a song about heartache and the ambivalence of love. It’s been one of the most requested of ‘The Lost Songs’ and will be released digitally for the first time-ever through our new record label, Better Noise Music. This isn’t nostalgia, this is right now, and there’s much more to come!”
