The Hold Steady shared a new single entitled “The Last Time That She Talked To Me.” The track is available to download by donating to the K + L Guardian Foundation, which supports the children of “Jersey” Mike Van Jura, who founded Unified Scene and unexpectedly passed away in 2012 at the age of 36.

Recorded with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin at Woodstock, New York’s Isokon Studios, “The Last Time That She Talked To Me” will be released to streaming services on Friday, March 8 via Frenchkiss Records. The band’s ninth single released in the past 15 months features guest horn players Stuart Bogie and Dave Nelson and backing vocals by Annie Nero.
